Extend a delivery or remind the client

Who can do this

Owners, administrators, the branch's manager and the project's lead. Every plan.

Open in GISweaver

Extend a delivery to keep it open longer, or send the client a reminder that access is about to end.

  1. Open Projects, choose the project and select the Access tab.
  2. Select ⋯ on the delivery's row. A menu opens.
  3. To keep it open longer, choose Extend. A question with Access lasts opens.
  4. Pick how long from today in Access lasts, and select Extend. The new day shows on the row. Extending is free; the files stay on your plan.
  5. To tell the client again that access ends soon, choose Remind. A question opens.
  6. Select Send reminder. The client is told again. One reminder can be sent every seven days.

What happens next

The client is told again that access ends soon. GISweaver also reminds the client 30, 14 and 1 days before access ends, and sends a notice after it. See the new day on the Sent tab: See what you have sent.

Where these are

Both are on the project the delivery came from, not on the Sent list.

If something goes wrong

Extend is refused in two cases, and Remind in one.

Case What you see
Your external sharing policy is on for the project. Extend answers Your organisation does not allow sharing this outside the organisation.
You have paused the client in the project. Extend and Remind are both refused. Resume the client in the project first.

The automatic reminders are not sent to a paused client either; resuming the client lets a reminder that is still owed go out.
