Change or end a share

Who can do this

Owners, administrators, the branch's manager and the project's lead. Every plan.

Open in GISweaver

You can change a share after you made it, or end it before its day.

  1. Open Projects and choose the project. The project opens.
  2. Select the Access tab. The tab lists the access given to other organisations.
  3. Select ⋯ on the share's row. The menu lists what you may do with it.

Send the latest release

  1. Choose Send the latest release. The share moves to the newest published release, keeping the layers both releases have.

Edit the share

  1. Choose Edit. Edit this share opens.
  2. Change the layers, the tools, the download and the message. The form shows your changes.
  3. Select Save changes. The row shows the change at once, even for someone who has the map open.

The organisation and the project cannot be changed: end the share and make a new one instead.

Turn downloads off

  1. Choose Turn downloads off. The release download stops straight away.

End a share

  1. Choose End share. A question opens under the row.
  2. Select End share again. The share ends and the row shows it; select Keep it instead to leave it as it is.

You can end a share, or turn its download off, whatever your organisation's standing: see While your organisation is suspended or frozen.

If something goes wrong

  • You want a different organisation or project: end the share and make a new one.
