Getting started¶
GISweaver is organised around projects that belong to your organisation, which you manage from the Console and work in from the Workspace. This section gets you from first sign-in to your first look at a published release.
In this section¶
- Signing in — the account methods and the second factor.
- Workspace and Console — the two customer surfaces.
Before you begin¶
You reach GISweaver in one of two ways:
- You create the organisation. Signing up is self-serve: one account creates the organisation and makes you its owner. Sign-up currently also asks for an invitation code, and a new organisation starts on a trial.
- Somebody invites you. If your organisation is already on GISweaver, an owner or administrator invites you from the Console and you sign in against that invitation.
Alonstech staff do not create customer organisations. The internal GISweaver Control Plane is a staff surface for support and operations; it is not how an organisation comes into being.
This page is being written.
The step-by-step walkthroughs — create your first project, upload your
first survey, read the published release back on the map — are not written
yet. Screenshots, when they arrive, will use the attributed demonstration
data from gisweaver-fixtures, never real customer survey data.
