Verify your email address¶
Who can do this
Anyone whose email address GISweaver has not yet confirmed
Until you confirm your email address you cannot invite colleagues or upload survey data. Most people confirm it at sign-up and never need this page; if the notice Confirm your email address. is at the top of your screen, yours still needs confirming.
- Open the newest email from GISweaver and select its link. It works for 24 hours, and once only.

No email? In the notice at the top of the screen, select Resend email. It then reads Sent — check your inbox.

The page Confirm your email address opens and says Your email address is confirmed. You can now invite colleagues and upload survey data.
- Select Go to Home, or Sign in if you were signed out.
What happens next¶
The notice leaves the top of the screen, and inviting colleagues and adding files are open to you, as your role allows.
If something goes wrong¶
- This link has expired, was already used or was replaced by a newer one. The page adds Links work for 24 hours and once only. Select Resend email in the notice for a new one.
- Your email address is already confirmed. Nothing more is needed. Select Go to Home.
- Confirm your email address before doing that. You tried to invite someone or add a file before confirming. Follow the steps above, then try again.
- Try sending again in the notice: the email could not be sent. Select it to try once more.

Until the address is confirmed you can sign in and look around: open projects, read files and read conversations.
