Settings¶
Settings is a hub in the Console's Organisation group. It holds five screens, and everything under it belongs to the organisation rather than to you.
| Screen | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Organisation | The organisation's identity and logo, its contact details, a records export, a releases export, transfer of ownership, closure, and erasure |
| Drawing standards | The organisation's drawing standard |
| Audit trail | See Audit trail |
| Data custody | The per-delivery custody ledger — owner only |
| Terms & policies | The agreements this deployment serves |
The Organisation screen self-gates card by card: rather than hiding an act you cannot perform, it says who holds it.
Your own settings are somewhere else¶
Preferences is a separate rail row, under You, and it is where your own things live: your units and the unit converter, your profile name and picture, and — on its Security tab — your second factor, your recovery codes and your signed-in devices.
Preferences follows you rather than the organisation, which is why it is not under Settings even though one of its routes is. See Signing in for the second factor itself.
This page is being written.
The individual settings screens are not written up with screenshots yet, and neither is Preferences.
