Keep a video with a project

Who can do this

Adding a video, anyone who may add files to the project. Playing it, anyone who can open the project. Every plan.

Open in GISweaver

A video of the site, such as a walk along a boundary or a drone clip, can be kept with the project like a photo. Colleagues play it in the project's Files list, exactly as you recorded it.

  1. Open Add files and choose the project.
  2. Drop the video on Drop files here, or browse at the top of Files. The video appears as a row.
  3. Wait until the row reads Video and Internal only.
  4. Select the video's name. The viewer opens.
  5. Press play in the viewer.

On a phone, tap Drop files here, or browse and choose the video in place of step 2.

What happens next

The video does not start by itself. It plays in the viewer with your browser's own controls, and on a phone inside the viewer unless you choose full screen. Select Download under it to keep a copy.

If something goes wrong

  • This browser cannot play this video. Download it to watch it. or This video could not be played here. It may use an encoding this browser does not support. Download it to watch it. The file is kept and whole; select Download and play it on your device.
  • The video is refused when you add it, for its size. It is larger than one file may be: select Compare all features on the billing screen for each plan's largest file.
  • The video's row reads Refused. The file is not a video the checks could read. GISweaver identifies a video by its content, so renaming a file to end in .mp4 does not make it one.
