What your plan allows per file¶
Who can do this
Anyone who may add files. Owners, Admins, Billing managers and Auditors see the limit before they add a file. Every plan sets its own limit for one file.
Check the largest file your plan accepts before you send a large delivery, so nothing is refused halfway through a batch.
-
Open a project's Files list.
If you can see the plan, the drop strip states the limit under the formats.

-
Or, if you can read billing, open Billing.
Your plan's card states the limit in the form Files up to … each, the same limit the strip writes.

-
Compare the file's size with the limit.
A file of exactly the limit is accepted.
What happens next¶
A file within the limit is sent as usual. A larger one is refused before it is sent, and no upload is spent on it.
The banner names the file with its size and the limit: It is … Your plan accepts files up to … each (…).
If something goes wrong¶
- The file is larger than your plan allows. Split it into smaller files (a point cloud into tiles, a drawing into sheets), or move to a plan that takes larger files. Billing readers can open Compare all features on Billing. Anyone else reads Ask the owner or a billing manager of your organisation to change the plan.
- You cannot see the limit before sending. Your role cannot read the plan, so the first larger file is sent and refused as it starts. The strip then says Your plan refused a file over … earlier (…). A larger file chosen after that is still sent, with a warning, because the plan may have been raised since.
