Filter files by kind¶
The row of chips above a project's Files list shows one kind of file at a time, so you can find what you need without scrolling.
- Open Projects and choose the project.
-
In Files, select the chip for the kind you want, such as PDFs. The list shows only that kind, and each chip shows how many the project holds.

-
To narrow further, type in Find a file. It searches within the chosen kind.
- Select All to see every file again.
What happens next¶
Only that kind is listed. When you also type in Find a file, the count beside it reads N of M files for that kind. The page's link keeps the choice, so a reload or a link you send a colleague opens on the same kind.
If something goes wrong¶
- There is no chip for the kind you want. The project holds none of that kind; a kind with no files has no chip.
- A file you expected is missing. It may be deleted: deleted files still fold under Show 3 deleted files under the list (the number is how many there are), whatever the chip.
