GISweaver Workspace¶
The Workspace is the survey surface you work in: the map at the site root.
The rail¶
The Workspace's left rail has eight sections, in this order:

| Find | Asks the whole published release, including features outside the current view. |
| Coordinates | Reads one position out in named systems, and takes one in. |
| Objects | Your saved work items, with their revisions. |
| Analyse | Cut and fill, and terrain profiles. |
| Design | Parcel operations — split, merge and their previews. |
| Review | Discussions anchored to the survey. |
| Export | The scaled plan sheet. |

Find, Coordinates, Objects and Review are not documented here yet. The in-product Workspace guide covers them today and is the more current of the two: it is reached from the Workspace itself and is written against the build you are signed in to.
How a survey gets here¶
A survey is uploaded in parts, scanned, ingested and published by a worker off a durable queue. What you read on the map is an immutable published release: your own saved work is drawn over it, the release itself does not change, and a correction is issued as another release rather than as an edit to this one.
Delivery is a different thing
In GISweaver a delivery is not the published release. It is the hand-off of a release to another organisation, with a period it stays open for and a receipt when the files have been taken. See the glossary.
